Sept 27 dont know if many would remember the date so FYI it was the birthday of Sardar Bhagat Singh. It was his 102nd birthday . What an irony it is that we all get a national Holiday on 2nd oct no offence meant and noone remembers the birthdate of the biggest pioneer revolutionary of this country. This is not just because of us I think it is the ignorance 0f media and the resources which make such an issue about some of the things which are in there intrest while ignore others not at all justified. But still this is not something new it happens always. the system in this country is too much biased. Not just in this case but it can be seen in birthdays of other national heroes too. No one remembers the birthdate of any of the national heroes other than few due to obvious reasons. Take cricket for another example it dont matters team wins or looses every news channels provides lengthy segments on the topic while on other sports just a headline is provided and then case closed. Someone who gave his life for this country dont deserves such an ignorance.

But it seems no one remembers him. After 3 days, on 2'nd October there will be lot's of remembrance services and speeches and sermons to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi as if he was the only one responsible for our independence. Millions of people, many of them unknown died with a vision of free India in there eyes. Even prominent names like Chandrashekhar Azad, Shubhash Chandra Bose seem to be removed from our history only because they didn't shared there views with some of them

Popularity is just a matter of chance, favorable conditions and in some cases the opportunity to get popular and how well you apply to it.
